  • Breton publicly opposed both Casino deals and will demand responsible safeguards for public investments.
  • Breton is committed to making homes more affordable and shifting the tax burden off existing homeowners. He engages city planners, developers, and civic association leaders for solutions.
  • Breton has met with tenants’ advocates, affordable home builders, and policy experts to support solutions for rising rents & home prices.
  • As Chair of RCDC, Breton led the call to establish and fund a new Department of Transportation with a mandate to put safety over speed.
  • As PTA Policy Chair, Breton brought RPS parents and students to lobby the General Assembly for more equitable funding for our city schools.
  • Breton has met with administration, labor, consultants, legislators, and liaisons to support solutions that will improve city functions.
  • As Chair of Richmond City Democratic Committee (RCDC), Breton passed a resolution calling for greater FOIA compliance and transparency in City Hall.
